MINIMALIST DOOR - DOUBLE
with a hidden system
A solution for large door openings or for standard door openings with no space for the door to open to one side of the opening. The solution for wooden doors with a a hidden sliding system.
1. DOOR OPENING
Choosing the wrong size of sliding doors is a common purchase mistake. Sliding doors differ in height and width from standard doors, so pay special attention when measuring and calculating.
Measure the height of the opening from the lowest point of the floor (if uneven) to the top of the door opening at its highest point. Measure the width of the door opening at its widest point.

- A - door opening width
- B - door opening height
2. DOOR LEAF
It is important that the door overlaps the edges of the door opening sufficiently. If there is not enough overlap, there will be a gap through which you can see what is behind the door when looking at it from the right angle. This is because the sliding door is in front of the opening, not inside the opening.
CALCULATE
- door width: A1 = (A + min. 10 cm) / 2 (round up to the nearest 10 or to the door size available in the shop)
- door height: B1 = B + min. 10cm
CHECK
- the width of the space to open the door
3. SLIDING SYSTEM AND SLIDING TRACK
For doors with a hidden system that is located behind the door, the door leaf is slightly higher. Pay attention to the amount of space available under ceiling that is required for proper installation.
The length of the track depends on the width of the door leaves. The standard length of the track is selected to ensure the complete opening of the door and the correct installation of the side stoppers. If you need a custom size, please contact us. Remember: a sliding track that is too short can cause the door to overlap the door opening.
CALCULATE AND VERIFY
- sliding track length : A2 = (A1 + A1 ) x 2
- distance between the door and the ceiling: C = min. 2 cm
Make sure you have enough space for the full length of the sliding track and for the sliding system.
